About 15 minutes south of Venture Retreat, Año Nuevo has a beautiful beach and hiking, and is a breeding site and nursery for northern elephant seals and California sea lions.

A community of people with prior association with the Esalen® Institute in Big Sur, California, primarily as work scholars, staff or seminarians.
