Learning To Listen Family Retreat

August 5th – 7th, 2011

Please join the Learning To Listen Yoga & Meditation Collective for this weekend of families, fun, food, and freedom. This retreat is designed for families to simply be together, practice yoga and meditation, and to share the challenges and opportunities that are unique to the conditions of family life. Daily yoga and meditation sessions will support of our over-arching and central focus of growing community relationships that assist parents in easing the sometimes-isolating process of family development. The informal ‘seed’ of this offering is a small group of Learning To Listen families that hope to further bond as friends and extended family.

Some personal and ‘inward’ growth will surely occur for all involved, yet our overall intention will be for us each to further unfold relationally – in relation to our partners, our children, and to each other. Please join us for this celebration of meditation and/or yoga (participation in sessions is entirely optional), community cooking and dining, meeting with old friends and new, and to enjoy the practice of resting into doing as little as possible - we look forward to growing together simply by being together.

*for children 1-6yrs; special exceptions will be considered
*retreat is open to folks who do not have children, yet simply enjoy being around them

Program Cost

$135/parent (1 child free/parent)
Cost Break-Down: $80 (camping & facilities), $55 (meals & classes)
