We are having this benefit music festival for our new scholarship fund, available to other non profit organizations who are looking for a space to put on their wonderful programs, classes, workshops and retreats. This fund will be in place for those that need financial assistance for outddor and indoor space and lodging. Helping these other nonprofit organizations to afford their educational program costs is only part of the way we show our support for their very worthy causes. This is at the core of our mission as a center for personal growth and education. The natural surroundings of Venture provide the perfect setting for group lessons and activities. All proceeds from this event will go directly into the scholarship fund. Applications for scholarships will be available October 1st for consideration and awards.
What is Venture Retreat Center?
Venture is a local non-profit in Pescadero that has been held in trust since the 60's as a center for spiritual growth and transformation. We have hosted thousands of people of all ages, creeds, backgrounds on our sacred lands for decades while they immersed themselves in nature, music, art, co-creation and fun! So, we want to bring that back this summer as a way to connect and give back to the community while enjoying great music and fun in the sun!
